Privacy Policy

Optimi Amici ("we", "us") builds websites and lead-follow-up systems for local businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through optimiamici.com and our related tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you use our contact, booking, or newsletter forms we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and message.
• Usage information. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and referring site). These tools use cookies and similar technologies.
• Client account data. When a client asks us to manage their online presence, we may access data in accounts they have shared with us, as described under "Google user data" below.

How we use information

• To reply to your inquiry, deliver our services, and send follow-up you asked for.
• To send occasional updates if you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To measure and improve our website and marketing.
• To meet legal, tax, and security obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Google user data

Optimi Amici operates an internal tool, "Claude Google Ops", that connects to Google APIs (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile) on behalf of the Google account that authorizes it. The tool is used only by Optimi Amici to manage analytics, tag configuration, search performance, and business listings for Optimi Amici and for clients who have granted us access to their accounts.

• What it accesses: account, property, container, site, and location configuration, and the associated performance reports, for accounts the authorizing user can access.
• How it is used: only to view and make changes the authorizing user requests to those accounts, and to prepare reports for the business that owns the data.
• Storage: OAuth tokens are stored on Optimi Amici's own computer and are not shared. Report data is kept only as long as needed for the requested work.
• Sharing: Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide the requested service, to comply with law, or with the account owner's permission.
• Revoking access: access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run our business, including Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Workspace), our website host (Hostinger), and our CRM and forms platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel). They process information only on our instructions. Some providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local law.

Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Parts of the site may not work as intended without cookies.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we protect it with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing, by emailing partnership@optimiamici.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
